The second game would call on the girls for another miraculous comeback. Goodrich trailed Lake Fenton 7-3 heading into the fifth inning.

The Martians answered with two runs in the fifth and a huge hit by Tori Jones in the sixth inning provided an 8-7 victory for Goodrich and a share of the GAC Red Division.

Goodrich went on to play Lakeville in a district match-up on June 4. Once again the girls from Goodrich proved their resilience as they were able to come back from a 4-0 deficit to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh inning.
