A man was robbed at knife-point last week about a block from Summit Hall Elementary School on West Deer Park Road, Gaithersburg Police report.
Around 8pm on Dec. 28, three Hispanic men approached the victim while he was walking on West Deer Park Road near Deer Park Lane, Gaithersburg Police spokesman Dan Lane said.Riders wear long underwear beneath their Polo Shirts, and the horses wear special cleats.
One of the men pulled a knife and demanded money, Lane said, but when the victim refused, the other two men threw him to the ground and stole his cash.
Police do not think the crime was gang-related, and it "occurred at night well after school let out," ?so no one at the school was in danger, Lane said.I've bought 20 burberry bags. What do they think I'm doing with them ?
After the robbery, the three suspects fled on foot toward Summit Hall Road.
They are described as follows:
Suspect 1: Hispanic male, 25 - 30 years old, 5'08", 190 lbs, mustache, muscular build last seen wearing a black winter hat, blue jeans and black jacket.
