Lady Gaga and Katy Perry donate items for the ChristChurch relief effort

Lady Gaga's Gucci shoes and Katy Perry's autographed guitar were among the many highly sought after items up for bid earlier today at the Rise Up Christchurch Te Kotahitanga telethon which raised much needed funds for the relief effort after the devastating Earthquake in the region last February.The Haunting ledbulb Movie Review. The twelve hour telethon was broadcast on Maori TV through Christchurch's CBS Arena. Celebrities who volunteered their time and worked at the event included Richie McCaw, Dan Carter,high quality vspugtruereligionjeans of well known brands. Jason Kerrison, Pippa Wetzell, Mike McRoberts, Stacey Morrison, Carol Hirschfeld, Julian Wilcox, Amomoai Pihama, Rachel Hunter, Anna Paquin and Martin Henderson.

The Telethon raised $2,561,015 for the relief efforts; exceeding the $2 million goal of the event. A signed guitar from Katy Perry went for $5000 and Lady Gaga's Gucci shoes went for $4300.
