The Burden United Methodist Women invite all women and girls to their annual spring banquet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.Childs' collection of about 600 pairs of high heels is on display at the Yakima Valley Museum for the rest of this year. The church is located at Sixth and Oak in Burden.

Speaker for the evening is Shirley Douglas, Central High School librarian and coach of the Central Scholars Bowl Team, which recently won the state championship.
