With a cut in financial support from the Portage County Solid Waste Management District, the future of the Phyllis Zumkehr County Clothing Center is in jeopardy.
The county recycling district cut its annual support from $50,000 to zero for 2011.
With the drop in prices for recyclables in recent years, the district had to cut back, said Bill Steiner, district director.

Donations to “Save the Clothing Center” may be sent to Family & Community Services at 705 Oakwood St., Ravenna OH 44266.
