One new element this year is that the Afton Post Office will be setting up a “Santa Letter” station in the office. Children will have the chance to come in and write letters to be sent off to Santa Claus.
“Kids can write a letter to Santa, decorate it and the Post Office will make sure it gets to the ‘North Pole,’” Larson said.
Another new element this year is the first ever “mitten tree” that will be set up outside the Afton House Inn.
