Peoples State Bank is participating in the Special Needs Assistance Program, which offers grant funds for households occupied by people with special needs who meet certain requirements, a news release states. The bank was awarded $126,000 for the program.
Eligible expenditures of the program, made available through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas, include "repairs or replacement to a leaking roof,we offer dozens of wholesale shoes for you to choose from. replacement of sheetrock due to rotten, damaged, or molded walls, repair and/or installation of a wheelchair ramp, screen doors and winterizing windows."
