Afton is inviting families to take a step back in time and enjoy the annual Afton Village Holiday Dec. 3-5.
“It’s a nostalgic old fashioned celebration,” Deb Larson, of the Afton Area Business Association, said.
This year’s Afton Village Holiday includes such activities as crafts,Here is a ideal platform to buy Leather handbags. And here you can find your favorite Air force 1. holiday shopping, breakfast with Santa, going business to business collecting treats in stockings, strolling carolers, ice skating, horse and wagon rides and even a wine tasting.
“We’ve just got a great schedule this year,” Larson said. “Afton will be all lit up.”
Additionally, the Afton Historical Society Museum will be open and providing a variety of entertainment for families.
Larson said the Afton Museum is typically a very big draw for families.
“We really feel like the history of Afton is definitely a strong point since it’s fun to see how they used to celebrate Christmas in the past,Winslow collected reimbursements from her city expense account for jazz musicians, a disc jockey, an inflatable bouncers rentals.We offer Ed Hardy Bags and inflatable life jackets for you.” she said.
Afton’s history plays such a big part in the Afton Village Holiday that the Afton Historical Society will be speaking on the history of Afton during the horse and wagon rides and will be distributing historical walking tour maps.

Afton Historical Society president Stan Ross said this year’s activities at the Afton Museum will include a natural bird feeder craft, story time and being able to see the Victorian model train set up.The equipment allegedly was being used to pump out thousands of fake truereligion jeans and sweat suits,
New this year however will be a scale model of a Victorian-era house, from Stillwater, for everyone to look at.
“That’s very intricate and beautiful and wonderful to see,” Larson said.
Also new this year at the Afton Museum will be a switching station addition to the model train set which gives children the opportunity to drive some of the trains.
